I came across this book “Knock-Out Blackjack: The Easiest Card-Counting System Ever Devised”. Just wondered - has anyone read it? What did you think about it?
Do you know any other BlackJack books?

I have heard a lot of good things about the KO method, I think there is another person on here who uses that… CARDS4LIFE maybe? Whoever it was talked about it a little bit in the Card Counting section.

If you go to Borders or any other book store, you should be able to find a lot of blackjack books. That’s how most of my friends started getting into advanced strategies. Some of them are better than others, but there are some good ideas that you can get out of all of them. Sometimes you just have to pick the good and leave the bad. But that’s the way it is with any subject, really.

Personally, I would also recommend Blackjack: Take the Money and Run. I provided the link to the Amazon listing for that book, and as you can see, it’s pretty cheap. It’s a good start for a lot of people, and it’ll help you get into some of the more complex Blackjack ideas.

Hey - I’ve read that book. I loved it, and that’s the method that I use most often. I think it’s a lot easier to use than trying to keep track of the rolling and the true counts.

I have never used a book. Did I hear you say why? Well because there is so much available free of cost on internet, why to waste money on books!

I have also read this book but I am not very much into books. You would get most of the tips/techniques that professionals use for free on internet. Just keep searching/googling.

Lots of books are being discussed here. Great, people say a book is man’s best companion. While I have read many books, none of them were related to BJ. I usually follow tips on internet while improving my BJ skills.

Recently I got chance to lay my hands on a book on BJ…Golden Touch BlackJack Revolution…
I forgot name of the author but the book had some really simplified tips. Worth buying.

In my teens when internet wasn’t so popular I had used “Blackjack Attack: by Don Schlesinger” It was pretty complex book but after reading it a few times, I really mastered a few techniques which helped me a lot when I started playing in casinos.

Where did you find that book? How much does it costs? I am really interested to improve my BJ skills.

Be careful about counting cards. Nothing will get you blacklisted faster than a casino that perceives you as a cheater. Just play the odds and hopefully they will bear out in the end.

Anyone who has put in the time to learn to count cards certainly knows the risks involved and will go to great lengths to conceal the fact that they are counting.
While some people may be fine playing basic strategy, even under the best of circumstances, the house still has a small edge. Card counting can erase that edge and put the odds in the players favor. It may be risky but it is not only financially rewarding to count cards, but it is also personally rewarding to be able to “beat” the game and not get caught doing so.

Hey, thanks for all the links and info guys. I am always thirsty for more information on the topic and what better way to get it than a book. I always like to reference material as I play online, so this is a great way to do it.

Great info guys. I have never ever read a book on BJ. I have done all practically with my friends and relatives. But yes I would definitely like to read a book on my favorite hobby!
