At few Casino here, they’ve got a side bet of “Lucky Lady”, which is, if your first two cards equal 20 (face cards or A,9) then you get at LEAST 4:1 on the side bet. If it’s two matching cards, I think it pays 10:1 and if it’s two identical cards, it pays 100:1. What’s a good count to bet on something like that? Many times do I get facecards when the count is +4 or more, but a friend figured out, +6 would be the ideal count to throw down a few bets on the Lucky Lady.

Anyone agree/disagree?

Thanks for sharing it. I have never seen this and hence can’t really comment but I would definitely like to play it.

That sounds like a cool side bet. Like Playdow, I haven’t played it, but it seems interesting!

I’ve never played side bets either but I am going to the casino this weekend and I think I will give it a try now that I have some tips. I will let you know how it goes if I win. Thank you for sharing this info, I’m sure it will come in handy this weekend.

Well I haven’t played it but have watched it being practiced at some casino who’s name I don’t remember now. But definitely it worth playing.

Well all the casinos have similar variants. Only the ratio of the awards goes up and down. I don’t see any harm in them but hardcore gamblers do.

I agree with supamambo. Today due to fierce competition in casino industry, they are forced to offer something different then the neighboring casino so they put up lots of things on regular basis. It may or may not be of the players interest but they just wants to have an edge above the rest.

Well it seems like discussion is more on the bet rather than OP’s query.

Let me answer to your query. Yes +6 is ideal position to take a few bets of Lady Luck.
