I once was playing at a $100 minimum 6 decker in A.C.

A woman was betting $500+ per hand.

She was anxious. She asked me what to do on a no-brainer, and she won (a triple bet for $1,500), when she followed my advice to split her 7’s and double down on her 9 vs. a dealer 4.

She passed me a black chip and said thanx.

The count “went south” and I ceased playing and instead (verbally) “played” her hands for her.

She did well and every hand she won betting between $500 and $1,000 per hand she toked ME $100 and the dealer too! The floorman was almost overcome with mirth that he had trouble hiding.

When the shoe finished, she thanked me for having recouped several thousands of dollars in losses.

She colored up and left. She had given me well over $1,000

I think I would’ve followed her wherever she went if she was continuing to gamble - great money maker.

Dude, what about your hand? You could’ve been betting on your own with the chips you were getting from her and double or triple your winnings… LOL

Wow so you could pretty much make a living helping other people play? That’s pretty neat!

WOW great piece of story. When I was a kid, I had similar fate. I never won any lottery or lucky draw or similar. But whenever I bought or accompanied to one of my friends, he surely won. But alas they weren’t generous like your friend in the casino.

Nice story - you could have played with your own money as suggested above but its always easier to bet with someone elses money.

I have witnessed a similar scene while I visited a casino in Macau. The combination was opposite there. Player was a male and his lucky charm was a beautiful Cantonese lady in lovely evening gown. He used to pass on a portion the money won with her help. I don’t know how much he/she made but it was wonderful experience.

Great story but when will my lucky day arrive when someone would offer me money for my advice.

WOW a grand for lucky charm! Well I too would pay generously to my lucky charm but where is he?

I think you could probably make a movie about this. It’s a little out there and Hollywood seems desperate for mjore movies, so, you know, it could work.

That’s great story. Not many people tip that generously. Couple of times I had accompanied my friend to a casino and on my suggestions he had won some money but he didn’t give me anything except a lavish dinner and few pegs of fine scotch.
