I have seen people playing with multiple decks. I have tried it a few times but I am much better on single deck game.
Has anyone here tried playing with multiple decks?

Yep, most of the casinos in Vegas use a multideck shoe. The Basic Strategy is pretty similar, though there are some differences between single and multideck games. Single deck games are great if you can find them because there is less of a house edge.

I love playing multiple deck shoe. It much more fun than single deck but lately I haven’t seen any single deck table so would definitely like to play a few rounds.

I’ve always found that I have more luck on multiple decks than on a single decks, but it is a whole lot harder to count cards on multiple decks! Plus, with the casinos in Vegas using multiple decks, that’s what I have the most experienced with…

Yeah, I prefer to play at casinos and I don’t think that I have seen any single deck games at any of the places I have played before. I’m sure that I started with single decks when I was practicing at home before I really got into the heavier gambling, but it’s been a while…

less reshuffles with the multiple decks so you get more playing time between sets. Plus the dealer can take a while to shuffle the multiple decks, so after playing for about 20 to 30 mins of a deck, you can get up and walk around before the next shoe starts. It’s a nice mental break.

Same here. I too haven’t played with single decks since an age. Playing & Practicing at home is a different issue but at casino they always use multiple decks & believe me its much more exciting that way.

My local “casino” usually has both type of tables and I have had better luck on single deck games so… I never knew that majority of casinos around the world stick to multiple decks. Thanks for the info.

I used to play single and twin decked games with my friends at parties etc but at casinos I have never ever seen a single deck game. Anyways… where do you live?

Same here, I’ve never seen a single deck at any place that mattered. In fact I haven’t played single deck since childhood playing against my mother I think.
I wish more places offered single-way better odds!

I used to play single decks with my friends in my teens. Later on I started using 4 decks then 6 decks. I occasionally use 8 decks as well. According to me, more the deck, greater is the fun.

Like others I too like single deck games but as most of the casinos don’t offer it, at casinos I have played multiple deck games. Yes single deck is easy and fun but expertise in it will not help so I now a days prefer playing multiple decks only.

I’ve played multiple decks only a handful of times and the other times were with single decks. I think I would prefer to play with the multiple decks.

I love both! I play multideck at casino (ofcourse because they don’t offer single deck games) while at home with friends and relatives I play single or double deck games.

Generally strategies of 1-2 deck games are simpler and easier to formulate while that for 3-6 deck games are more for amateur gamblers while anything higher than 6 decks is simply too tough!

Like others I too like to play 1-2 deck games but I don’t find them at casinos, so I am forced to play multiple decks in casinos.
