Has anyone or does anyone who plays at joints that use these machines ever try to track shuffles that come from them? I go to different places and bj some have them some don’t. It is of my oppinion that there is less bias in the deck when they use asms as opposed to hand shuffle. I know I have been told a thousand times that asms make no difference in deck composition but this is still haunting me. I can go to a place that hand shuffles and expect to see slugs of cards that can be recognized from a prior shoe dealing. I was playing heads up awhile back and a dealer dealt himself trip cards four different times to himself two different decks, I was amazed.

BVictor,
Unless I misunderstood your comments…your favor ASM’s?  If so, I think your crazy dude.  Anything machine voids advantage play such as shuffle tracking.  Any machine can read cards, set cards, or is dictated by an e-prom algorithm as how to shuffle cards.  Grouping cards hi w hi and low with low ALWAYS favors the house.  When you get 20’s house gets 20’s.  And we ALL know small cards favor the house so when small cards are grouped the player is doomed.  How many times do you see dealers beating your pat hands (17-20) with 3 or 4 or 5, even 6 cards?

By your own observations using ASM’s it HEAVILTY favors the house versus seeing all cards at all times before, during, and after the shuffle.  MrSmooth

After my experience with AMS machines compared to hand shuffle, I will never play table again with a machine that shuffles.
