I was reading another thread here on the forum about a new player who had made the whole table angry at him because his lack of experience. I just wanted to point out to other new players that there are all sorts of places you can play for free online, this is a great way to get comfortable with a game before you go to the real tables.

I have to agree-the tables are not the place to learn. If you want to learn by watching others play at the table that’s fine, but don’t slow up play for those who want to have a nice, swift game.

Loads of free softwares are available on the internet. Find one, practice and then arrive at the casino is the best strategy.

Pretty true! I initially started playing after reading books and practicing with friends. Later on I found some softwares online and then I started practicing with them & finally I hit the casino floor after about a year’s hard work.

I had followed a little different path! I landed in casino right in the beginning. I learned at the casino by observing players. After I gained some knowledge and confidence, I started playing but soon I was broke and hence started learning it in the right manner.

I have played 21 online as well and had I done that earlier with some people to learn from, I probably would have spared myself some angry tablemates. Oh well, online gaming is fun because I usually play the free stuff and try to win some free rolls to get into money the free way.

Yeah! learning online is fun. All you need a ID & Password and download a game. But I seriously doubt if the free and professional options are same! Maybe they have kept the free one to lure you and hence it would be a bit more stupid kind!

I learned it from my friends and a book. I don’t have the book now but it was great. It had almost all the basic techniques listed there in.

im just starting on the game fully, i have less than 3 month on the game with basiclly no inconveniences, what i did was to practice on fun mode on the online casino i selected, after two weeks with these strategy charts, quite easy to undestand and learn, then i switched to playing for real which was quite a experience and finally ive been playing on a real casino on my location, the ppl on the table knew i was a novice but treated me well.
